As ITM Group believes in the development, innovation and expansion of differential and resourceful structural spaces. This structure is distinguished by its innovative design that resembles a large trunk of a Ceiba, Guatemala’s National tree.
The project covers an area of 2,800 square meters and there was effective planning for the type of structure to be built, it should be noted that it is unique in its class and in the country.
The assembly process began with the investigation of a series of technical and logistical specifications, a single bolt joint with connecting spheres was used, achieving an ascending assembly technique, starting from the central base and expanding in such a way that the structure reached a diameter of one hundred meters of light.
It was decided to use electrostatic powder painting, which allows durability and an aesthetic finish. It should be noted that Grupo ITM is currently the only one in the region that uses this painting process for any type of structure.
