Step onto the largest overpass in Nicaragua
The overpass consists of two interlocking bridges, one 525 meters long and the other 440 meters long and 23 meters high. The structure features anti-seismic technology, and the project was inaugurated in November 2018.
ITM Group was responsible for manufacturing and installing the safety rails for both bridges. These are electrostatic powder-coated metal structures, offering increased resistance and durability, as well as a highly aesthetic finish.

DESIGN
The structure of the railings installed on the «Las Pidrecitas» bridge was designed in accordance with the criteria established in the AASHTO LRFD 2010 specification (1) for the selection of vehicular railing systems on bridges.
