They are designed for the installation of medium voltage (above 1 kV) and high voltage (exceeding 25 kV) electrical power distribution networks. These can be embedded (buried in the ground and cast depending on soil conditions), flanged (anchor bolts are cast in concrete and bolted to the flange), or telescopic.
