Contributing to the expansion of the electrical power transmission system in El Salvador, plans have currently been developed to fulfill ETESAL's Strategic Plan.

With the goal of meeting the electricity demand of Salvadoran homes and industry, Grupo ITM manufactured and supplied lattice structures for the El Volcán substation, comprising 41 tons of metal structures. This helps with the planned expansion to add 75 MVA to the substation.
