Designed to contribute to the industrial, commercial, and residential growth of the area, the Costa Linda electrical substation covers power generation for the highway to Puerto Quetzal, in addition to contributing to the development of the area, in Masagua, Escuintla, Guatemala, about 30 km north of the ports of San José and Puerto Quetzal, Escuintla, Guatemala., This substation connects to the San José Plant, which receives generation from the San José Power thermoelectric plant, contributing 130 MVA to the national transmission system.

Grupo ITM was responsible for manufacturing the primary and secondary lattice structures, supplying 150 tons of structures according to the specified loads and client requirements, in compliance with current international standards for such substations. 

TRELEC Facilities They consist of 64 kilometers of 230 kV lines, 680 kilometers of 69 kV lines, 10 switching substations, and 62 transformation substations.
